The M&E QS Role:
As the team's lead Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of the commercial management of subcontracted M&E packages across a variety of projects. You’ll be working in a collaborative office environment in Newington, surrounded by a knowledgeable and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
- Review, negotiate, and oversee subcontractor packages for M&E works
- Track project costs and manage variations/claims
- Support tendering and procurement activities
- Handle contract administration and final accounts
- Work closely with project and technical teams to deliver commercially sound outcomes
About You:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E or building services sector
- Commutable to the Kent office as a base
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cost-control skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Degree-qualified or qualified through experience
