Cad Engineer

We are working with a leading UK-based engineering company specialising in the provision of high-quality metal bending, rolling, and fabrication services. As a result of internal promotion and growth they have a role for a Technical CAD Engineer, with real scope to train and develop into a Technical Sales Manager within the team Key responsibilities: * Ability to calculate material requirements and processing costs for customer quotations * Supporting the Production and Purchasing team * Assisting customers with current sales orders Required Experience: * Previous experience in the steel industry, engineering, or construction * Must be confident in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings * AutoCAD experience would be beneficial * Ability to understand material grades and production methods * Hold a full UK driving license Package:- * £14.00per hour on a temp to perm basis, permanent role after 13 weeks with salary between £27’000-£31’500 depending on experience and performance in the role * 32-Days of holiday * Performance-related bonus scheme * Company pension scheme Working Hours:- * Monday to Thursday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm with 30 minutes lunch * Friday 8.00 am – 1.00 pm This is a temp to perm role You will really benefit from a guided career path with this business, a real consultative approach to how the business runs exists here.
