PRU English Teacher Remedy are now seeking a passionate and resilient English Teacher to join a dedicated team in Grays to help inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential. As an English Teacher in our Alternative Provision, you will: Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students aged [insert age range], working predominantly at KS3 and KS4 levels. Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment that supports the emotional and behavioural needs of learners. Use creative and flexible approaches to re-engage students with a love of reading, writing, and effective communication. Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including support staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals, to provide holistic education and care. Track student progress, plan interventions, and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).Requirements: A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred, though unqualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered). Experienced or interested in working with students who have SEMH needs, EHCPs, or have been excluded from mainstream education. A patient, adaptable, and trauma-informed practitioner with strong classroom management skills. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
