4site are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a prestigious £15m super prime residential project. Working under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager, you’ll be leading site operations on a complex, high-end residential scheme. This is an 8 week temporary role with strong potential to convert to permanent, depending on performance. The project has one year remaining and a solid pipeline of future work.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of day-to-day site management as the Number One on site
- Oversee subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality delivery
- Coordinate with the design team and ensure plans are accurately implemented
- Manage RFIs, construction details, setting out, and site documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant site
- Report progress to the Project Manager
- Ensure work is delivered on time, to spec, and within agreed standards
- Use digital tools and platforms for reporting and record keeping
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in super prime residential projects in the UK
- Confident managing a site independently, while working under a Project Manager
- Background with reputable high end residential companies
- Comfortable with technical detail and quality-focused delivery
- Strong IT literacy – able to manage RFIs, drawings, schedules digitally
- SMSTS certification is essential
- Trade background preferred
- Experience with London projects in prestigious areas such as Hampstead, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, etc.
- Not suitable for candidates from large-scale commercial projects with big teams
