Senior Civil Engineer in Central London with a salary of up to £60k. The role offers hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. The business has 40 staff, mainly focused on structures, and a wide range of projects including:
- Re-development of a safari park
- High-end residential in London
- New KIA car showroom
- New M&S superstore
- New shopping centre in Hampshire
- Heathrow Terminal 5
The Civil Engineering team currently consists of an Associate and an Engineer, and they are looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer as a number two in the team. Over the next 3-4 years, there is a plan to grow the civils team to 10 people, providing opportunities for progression.
The company is very social, hosting monthly and quarterly events as well as trips abroad. They offer flexibility to work more from home depending on meetings.
Ideally, you will be able to:
- Carry out drainage design for development projects
- Have good knowledge of SUDS and Flood Risk Assessments
- Design estate roads and car parks
- Attend meetings with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders
- Run a civils project with support if needed
- Prior experience training junior staff would be useful
In-house, they use CAD, Site 3D, Civil 3D, Microdrainage, and Infodrainage, so experience with some of this software is needed, but not all.
