We have an excellent opportunity for a dependable and committed individual to join our clients collaborative team. The right candidate will be assisting in the implementation of 5S principles within the manufacturing facility.
Hours of Work and Pay
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:30
- Friday: 06:00 to 13:00
- Rate: £17.00 per hour
Job Role
- Painting walkways, storage and quarantine zones
- Identify suitable material locations and designate accordingly
- Produce map layout for raw materials and finished goods
- Mark and locate material locations
- Install shadow boards, ensuring all necessary tools for the areas are identified
- Place applicable signs to demonstrate 6S
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) showing best practice
- Follow quality service standards with a priority focus on health and safety
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to record information accurately
- Experience of understanding the principles of 5S/6S and lean manufacturing
- Ability to use a computer basics such as Word and Excel
- A forklift licence is a distinct advantage
