Stand in Supervisor / Team Leader

XCL Group are working with a busy fast growing plastic injection moulding company who are looking for people who have an enthusiasm for quality and who have ideally worked in injection moulding previously. This role will primarily be leading teams in the production area and training new staff when required. Job Responsibilities * Startups of machines and changing of tools / colours of materials. * Loading settings from machine memory and inspecting the parts to ensure that the job is running efficiently and to a high standard. * Leading a team on the production floor and reacting to any issues / covering any breaks when required. * Monitoring quality control to ensure that products are meeting specifications and reduce wastage. * Training of new recruits and monitoring staffing levels and reporting back to the Shift Supervisor. * Operating machinery and automation equipment so that the production runs as smoothly as possible. * Following all health and safety regulations throughout the production area. Job Requirements * Ideally past experience working on Injection moulding machines. * Competent changing tools and loading settings. * Confident running large machinery and an excellent eye for detail. * Due to the location it would be advantageous if you drive / have your own transport as public transport is limited. * Must have Safety boots and a High Vis. Working Hours Three-weekly rotating shifts, Monday – Friday: * 06:30 – 15:00 * 14:30 – 23:00 * 22:30 – 07:00 This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking company who are looking for long term permanent employees to help grow the business and keep up with their busy order book.
