We are looking for a hands-on and driven Production Cell Leader to take ownership of a manufacturing cell, driving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance (SQCDP). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing business with an outstanding industry reputation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a team of skilled engineers and operators to meet daily production targets
- Driving a Zero Defects culture through strong quality control and root cause resolution
- Managing team performance and efficiency through KPI tracking and continuous improvement
- Ensuring full compliance with 6S, AS9100, and health & safety standards
- Coordinating cross-functional efforts with engineering, planning, and quality departments
- Training, developing, and supporting team members to achieve their full potential
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or cell leadership
- Strong understanding of precision engineering or aerospace production environments
- Working knowledge of 6S, lean manufacturing, and quality systems (AS9100)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset with the ability to lead by example
Preferred Qualifications
- Time-served engineering apprenticeship (Essential)
- Supervisory/management training or qualification (Essential)
- HNC/HND or degree in a relevant discipline (Desirable)
- Lean/Green Belt qualification (Desirable)
