We are looking for a hands-on and driven Production Cell Leader to take ownership of a manufacturing cell, driving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance (SQCDP). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing business with an outstanding industry reputation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a team of skilled engineers and operators to meet daily production targets
  • Driving a Zero Defects culture through strong quality control and root cause resolution
  • Managing team performance and efficiency through KPI tracking and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring full compliance with 6S, AS9100, and health & safety standards
  • Coordinating cross-functional efforts with engineering, planning, and quality departments
  • Training, developing, and supporting team members to achieve their full potential

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or cell leadership
  • Strong understanding of precision engineering or aerospace production environments
  • Working knowledge of 6S, lean manufacturing, and quality systems (AS9100)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset with the ability to lead by example

Preferred Qualifications

  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship (Essential)
  • Supervisory/management training or qualification (Essential)
  • HNC/HND or degree in a relevant discipline (Desirable)
  • Lean/Green Belt qualification (Desirable)
