Value Education are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work at the Primary schools we support in the Rochdale area. The ideal candidates will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs. We have short term, and long term / temp to perm positions available from September.

Teaching Assistant duties:

  • Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
  • Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
  • Assisting with group activities
  • Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis

Teaching Assistant requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
  • Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
  • Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
  • Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
