About the Role
As an ECT Primary Teacher, you will be allowed to inspire, motivate and nurture young learners while being fully supported in your induction process. You’ll be part of a dynamic and friendly teaching team, delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and adapting your approach to meet the needs of your pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff.
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and school events as required.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with ECT status.
- Previous experience as an ECT or in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with pupils.
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
