Fibreglass Laminator

Fibreglass Laminator Due to continued expansion, we\’re recruiting an experienced Fibreglass Laminator to join our well established client.  Job Duties:  Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the production of silos and tanks ranging from 6 cubic metres to 100+ cubic metres. Reading and understanding lay-up specifications Wet lay laminating / chopper gun spray application Mould preparation Release of simple moulds Use of hand tools Use of handheld power tools such as grinders and sanders Bond preparation Use and control of patterns and jigs Basic housekeeping duties Requirements:  Technically minded and have the ability to learn new tasks and adapt to the role A thorough understanding of GRP/Fibreglass laminating and associated processes Experience with wet lay lamination techniques Experience with chop spray application techniques (preferred but not essential) Experience with filament winding (preferred but not essential) An understanding of the quality process Salary: Dependant upon experience. Working hours: Monday to Friday / 08.00am to 17.00pm. This is a Full time, Permanent position
