Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Production Operator to join our well-established client.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for operating machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing area.
- Monitor machine performance and report issues to management.
- Physically move tooling, fittings, and materials as needed.
- Inspect fittings and report quality concerns promptly.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure any defective parts are properly segregated.
- Provide support to colleagues and offer absence cover to maintain output.
- Take part in continuous improvement activities and support other tasks within the manufacturing department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment.
- Good technical ability with a machine setter background.
- Experience following work-based procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Strong safety awareness with experience in safe systems of work and waste handling procedures.
- Confidence in taking responsibility within defined limits of authority.
Salary: £31,737 Per Annum (including shift premium).
Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
