An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and driven Maintenance Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing operation in Invergordon! You will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Fitters and Electricians to ensure plant reliability, performance, and safety within a high-paced industrial environment. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact from day one, contributing to the ongoing development of preventative maintenance systems and supporting key operations across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Drive operational efficiency by improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee stores and inventory.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to align maintenance efforts with business objectives.
- Coordinate annual shutdowns and large-scale maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and administrative documentation.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Previous experience in a similar position or ready to take the next step up from a supervisor within manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
