Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Admin Assistant to support the processing of clinical correspondence and patient-related actions using the Anima system. This role involves reviewing clinical letters, identifying follow-up actions, and coordinating tasks with relevant team members. Full training on the Anima system will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and code information from clinical letters and patient correspondence.
- Identify required follow-up actions based on clinical content.
- Task appropriate staff members (e.g., clinicians, nurses, admin teams) to complete necessary actions.
- Track and manage the completion of those actions through the Anima system.
- Arrange investigations such as blood tests, imaging, or other diagnostics where needed.
- Book and manage patient appointments in line with clinical priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of all actions taken.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret clinical language (with training if needed).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Confident using IT systems and learning new software (Anima training provided).
