An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Brickwork Technician/Demonstrator. You'd be joining the education provider's highly-regarded construction team, working alongside other talented teaching staff passing on their skills to the next generation. Your role could be either a fantastic pathway into a teaching career, or just a highly rewarding permanent role with a fantastic college.

Responsibilities:

  • Help out students in Practical Lessons for the Construction Department.
  • Safeguarding responsibilities.
  • To prepare & set-up physical materials and equipment for workshop activities.
  • To produce a preventative maintenance schedule and carry out such maintenance on all tools and workshop equipment.
  • To order workshop equipment and materials in conjunction with the team.
  • To maintain the workshop to current H&S standards.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 / Advanced craft in Bricklaying or other related qualification of an equal level is ideal.
  • First Aid at work qualification or willingness to get one.
