Moulding Operative

XCL Group is collaborating with a busy, fast-growing plastic injection moulding company seeking enthusiastic individuals with a background or interest in quality assurance. This role offers a great opportunity for career progression, as the company tends to promote from within.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect products coming off the machines for shorts or discolouration.
• Stack products in batches and complete relevant documentation for each job.
• Report any issues to supervisors to minimize wastage.
• Assemble boxes and stack pallets of finished goods efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members and perform simple assembly tasks as required.
• Monitor material levels and communicate with team members to prevent machine downtime.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the production area.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience with injection moulding machines is preferred.
• Ability to operate large machinery confidently with a keen eye for detail.
• Own transport is advantageous due to limited public transport options.
• Safety boots and high-visibility clothing are mandatory.

Working Hours

Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday:

• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00
• 22:00 – 06:00
