Job Title: Asbestos Bulk Analyst

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary / Benefits: £25k – £32k + Training & Benefits

A privately‑owned, UKAS accredited asbestos laboratory is looking for a P401 qualified Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their team. You will be operating out of their site in the South‑East, analysing ACM samples to identify the presence and type of fibres. Applicants will be expected to manage their own workload effectively to meet company deadlines and must have existing industry experience. Experience / Qualifications

• Must hold the BOHS P401
• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst
• Have worked within a UKAS accredited company
• Robust technical knowledge
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT ability and experience

The Role

• Conduct the bulk analysis of asbestos samples to confirm the presence and type of asbestos/fibre
• Input analysis results in the company database
• Receive samples and log/store correctly
• Generate analysis certificates
• Maintain the functionality and cleanliness of the laboratory
• Work to set deadlines
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines
• Participate in AIMS and quality assurance checks
