Our client is looking for a Contract Manager to work at a location in Portsmouth.

We\\u2019re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a fast-growing commercial contractor based in Portsmouth, with projects spanning the UK.

The Role

You’ll take the lead on roofing projects from pre-start to completion — managing budgets, motivating site teams, ensuring H&S compliance, and exceeding client expectations. Strong experience in pitched slating and tiling is ideal, but a solid understanding of the wider roofing industry is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

• SMSTS & CSCS certified
• Full UK driving license
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in roofing or construction
• Strong leadership, communication & organisational skills
• Able to keep cool under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and a sharp eye for quality

Desirable

• Specific experience in slating & tiling
• Awareness of sustainable practices in construction
