Senior Fire Door Engineer A Crawley-based fire protection firm needs a Senior Fire Door Engineer to join the team. The Senior Fire Door Engineer will take responsibility for completing refurbishments, maintenance, inspections, and always delivering a high level of workmanship. The Senior Fire Door Engineer will cover the London area, so would ideally be based in this region. There is no expectation to visit the office every day. The Senior Fire Door Engineer will: Work in a team and independently when required. Liaise with the management team daily. Perform inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors to identify any repairs or replacements needed. Install fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Install and maintain fire-rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing, and door clearances. Maintain accurate records of door installations, repairs, and inspections. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained. Travel to multiple sites as required.
