Consortium Professional Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a well-established global manufacturer to appoint a commercially focused Head of Marketing. With decades of innovation and a strong international presence, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth - and this role offers a unique opportunity to shape its future brand and market impact.

The Role

This is a high-impact, stand-alone role embedded within the commercial leadership team. You’ll own the local marketing agenda, setting strategy and driving execution across all channels, ensuring alignment with global brand standards and divisional goals.

While you won’t manage a full team, you’ll work cross-functionally with global peers and agency partners, influencing outcomes and amplifying business performance through targeted marketing activity. It’s a strategic and hands-on position, perfect for a seasoned marketer who’s ready to lead from the front, champion brand evolution, and deliver measurable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the UK marketing strategy, aligned to global direction and local business objectives
  • Work closely with commercial and technical teams to create market-relevant, insight-driven campaigns
  • Deliver integrated marketing activity - both digital and traditional - with a focus on lead generation and brand awareness
  • Manage agency partnerships and internal stakeholders to execute coordinated campaigns
  • Act as the UK CRM lead (Salesforce experience an advantage) - ensuring data accuracy and marketing effectiveness
  • Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, applying insight to continuously refine approach
  • Stay abreast of market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform messaging and positioning
  • Safeguard brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory standards

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Are a strategic thinker with the initiative to lead autonomously and the pragmatism to execute effectively
  • Enjoy collaborating with commercial teams to influence direction and drive engagement
  • Combine creativity with commercial acumen - you’re not just delivering content, you’re shaping business narrative
  • Are credible, persuasive, and able to lead through influence, not hierarchy
  • Are detail-driven yet adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience in a senior B2B marketing role
  • Strong background in industrial, technical, or manufacturing sectors
  • Proven success in delivering integrated marketing strategies across digital and offline channels
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms - Salesforce ideal
  • Experience managing external agencies and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Independent and proactive, yet collaborative and highly visible across the wider team

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonus
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays & generous pension
  • Paid volunteering days and strong sustainability ethos
  • Ongoing learning and career development support
  • Inclusive, supportive culture with regular social events

If you’re ready to take ownership, drive strategy, and make a tangible commercial impact - we’d love to speak to you.
