Relief Security Officer

Relief Security Officer to cover multiple sites across Greater London and Surrey Minimum 48 hours per week Our client is recruiting for a reliable and professional Relief Security Officer to join our growing Greater London based team. This role requires flexibility, commitment, and the ability to adapt to different sites across Greater London and Surrey. You will provide essential cover across a range of commercial, and mixed-use buildings, ensuring consistent standards of safety, vigilance, and professionalism are maintained at every site – the role will require travel across various sites and work will be allocated depending on the rota with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Key Responsibilities * Carry out regular internal and external patrols at allocated sites across Greater London area and Surrey * Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents or alarms as required * Manage access control, including greeting and registering visitors and contractors * Complete daily occurrence and handover reports (written and photographic where required) * Respond to emergencies, including fire and first aid situations * Communicate clearly with site staff, residents, and emergency services * Maintain site logbooks, visitor records, and incident logs accurately * Support security teams by covering last-minute shift requirements or pre-planned absences Requirements * Valid SIA Security Licence (essential) * Valid First Aid Certificate (in date – essential) * Minimum 2 years of security experience * Must be physically fit and mobile (some sites involve large patrol areas or multiple floors) * Strong communication skills and fluent English (spoken and written) * Must be computer literate – able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Must be willing and able to travel across London and into Surrey using public or own transport * Able to provide 5 years of verifiable UK work history * Right to work in the UK Benefits * £13.25 per hour * Uniform provided * Company pension scheme
