New Head of Compliance required for a growing, values led organisation dedicated to transforming children's lives. We are recruiting a Head of Compliance for a growing provider of therapeutic children's homes committed to offering high-quality care for children who have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. With continued plans for growth and development this is an excellent time to join the organisation that is now looking to strengthen its senior leadership team. This key appointment of Head of Compliance is required to oversee care standards, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding across the growing portfolio of children's homes in the Midlands and South of England.

The Role
- Leading on care quality, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding across multiple children's homes.
- Supporting and mentoring the Area Manager and Registered Managers to achieve and sustain outstanding practice.
- Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted, the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and associated Quality Standards.
- Developing and maintaining policies, quality assurance systems, and service audits.
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the organisation, including support for the registration and launch of new homes.
- Providing expert input into complex care and safeguarding matters.
Candidate Requirements
- A background in home management and significant senior leadership experience within residential childcare services.
- In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment, including Ofsted frameworks and the Children's Homes Regulations.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable expertise in quality assurance, safeguarding, and care compliance.
- A child-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering therapeutic, trauma-informed care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Remuneration
- c£75,000pa plus car or car allowance and quarterly bonus based on achieving agreed KPI's.
- 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
