Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our client’s growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a construction or building background who is looking to advance their career. The successful candidate will support and eventually lead the delivery of refurbishment projects from inception through to completion, with a clear path toward managing multiple projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of refurbishment projects from start to finish
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate site operations and subcontractors
- Assist with client communication and management throughout the project lifecycle
- Help manage project timelines, budgets, and quality controls
- Contribute to procurement processes and material coordination
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and progress reporting
- Ensure adherence to health & safety policies and regulations on site
- Take increasing responsibility with a view toward managing projects independently
Requirements
- Experience working in a construction, building, or refurbishment environment
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and site operations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to take on more responsibility
- Ambition to progress into a full Project Manager role in the near future
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
