Opportunity: Small Tools Fitter * Location: Ashford * Salary: £35,000 * Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 to 17:00 About Us: Our client are leading national tool hire business, committed to providing exceptional service to customers across the country. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join their team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational reliability of the fleet of electrical, diesel, and petrol equipment. While experience with lifting equipment is an advantage, it is not essential. Key Responsibilities: * Test and run equipment from our fleet, ensuring it meets operational standards. * Perform repairs on electrical, diesel, and petrol equipment. * Attend site call-outs to repair equipment when exchange isn’t possible. * Complete and file daily test records for all test and repair activities. * Maintain a clean and tidy workshop. Essential Criteria: * A full driving license. * Polite and professional customer service while on-site, in the branch, and driving company vehicles. * Comfortable with heavy lifting. * A positive, can-do attitude.
