Warehouse Supervisor

Our client is looking for physically fit and competent Warehouse Supervisor to work within their friendly and busy team environment. This role has been created in order for the successful candidate to take certain responsibilities away from the Manager, which will enable him to focus on other areas. There is a degree of technical knowledge needed but training will be given to someone who is bright and quick to learn as well as enthusiastic. You will need to learn sizes and lengths of products and be numerate and accurate. Some of the work can be repetitive and you will spend time cutting and reeling equipment. You will be responsible for product picking and a Forklift would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. You will be responsible for day to day warehouse operations but you will also have a responsibility for working practice, prioritizing, supervising and assigning duties to staff. manager. You will be able to take responsibility for workflow and management of warehouse staff and the have the ability to work on your own initiative. This role requires a “hands on person” who is not afraid to get their hands dirty! You will be physical fit and competent with heavy lifting when required.
