My client is a major Material Distributor and supply heavily into the Aerospace and Automotive Sector. They are now recruiting for an Export Administrator to support their Shipping Administration Team. This role involves supporting the team and includes some of the following duties: Negotiating rates with hauliers and freight forwarders. Ensuring all paperwork is processed in line with agreements. Create shipping headers and produce all relevant export/UK shipping documentation. Communicate with outside haulage and shipping companies to ensure a smooth handover of the goods takes place with all necessary documentation provided. Ensuring freight costs are correct and added to the system to ensure goods can be invoiced correctly by finance. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft word and Excel and have excellent organisational skills.
