We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our FMCG manufacturing facility in Wakefield.

Description
- Maintenance and repair of all production equipment in the FMCG manufacturing facility.
- Ensuring optimal machine performance by conducting routine checks and implementing preventative maintenance measures.
- Complying with all health and safety standards in the workplace.
- Collaborating with the Engineering team to improve production processes and equipment efficiency.
- Troubleshooting technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Participating in the development and implementation of new manufacturing methods.
- Documenting all maintenance work and reporting any major issues to the Engineering department.
- Assisting in the training of new team members as needed.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Apprenticeship trained
- Demonstrable experience in equipment maintenance within the FMCG sector.
- A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and department heads.
