Maintenance Engineer

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our FMCG manufacturing facility in Wakefield.

Description

• Maintenance and repair of all production equipment in the FMCG manufacturing facility.
• Ensuring optimal machine performance by conducting routine checks and implementing preventative maintenance measures.
• Complying with all health and safety standards in the workplace.
• Collaborating with the Engineering team to improve production processes and equipment efficiency.
• Troubleshooting technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Participating in the development and implementation of new manufacturing methods.
• Documenting all maintenance work and reporting any major issues to the Engineering department.
• Assisting in the training of new team members as needed.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

• Apprenticeship trained
• Demonstrable experience in equipment maintenance within the FMCG sector.
• A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and department heads.
