Site Officer Huntington,Cambridgeshire Permanent January Start 52 weeks a year 40 hours a week £25,584 – £27,269 Our client is a Primary School in Huntington,Cambridgeshire. They are looking for a Site Officer to join there team on a permanent basis from January 2025. Responsibilities * Unlocking of the school and nursery buildings and car park by 7am; securing the school and nursery site after hours (times may be subject to change) including the intruder alarms, windows, external gates and doors. * Visual health & safety check of the school site before school, identifying issues and remedying where possible. * Checking the school facilities are in good working order, including boilers and utility supplies. * Refilling/replacing of school consumables including light fittings, hand soap dispensers, hand towel dispensers, toilet rolls. * Emptying external site bins & litter picking. Ensuring bins for school and nursery are ready for collection as per the schedule. * Site maintenance regime including water hygiene checks, boiler checks, sprinkler system maintenance, fire and alarm system checks, routine equipment checks, meter readings. * Visual safety checking of external fixtures, fittings & play equipment. * Repair of school fittings & fixtures where possible, moving of furniture & school equipment where required.
