Role Overview

As aField Steam Trap Survey Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of steam traps within industrial steam systems. You will analyse their performance, identify inefficiencies, and provide expert recommendations to enhance system reliability and minimize steam losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conductonsite inspectionsto assess steam system installation and identify potential issues.
• Performperformance testingof steam traps using ultrasonic measuring devices.
• Accuratelyrecord and analyse data, including trap type, size, location, and operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot steam system inefficiencies and provideexpert recommendationsto improve performance and reduce energy waste.
• Communicate findings and solutions effectively with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience insteam trap surveysorindustrial maintenance(preferred).
• Strong knowledge ofsteam systemsand steam trap functionality.
• Excellentproblem-solving skillsand keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and confidently interact with clients.
• FullUK driving licenserequired.
