We are on the lookout for an experienced Vet to join a brand-new independent small animal practice in a charming coastal town in North Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to join from the very beginning and play a key role in shaping the future of a modern, progressive practice.
With full support provided across all aspects of setup and clinical operations, this role would suit someone excited by the idea of developing services and culture from the ground up. There’s also the potential to take on a leadership or mentoring role in time - though this is not essential.
What’s on offer:
- Salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
- 4-day week (40 hours, 8:30am-6:30pm, paid breaks included)
- Saturday mornings on rota (8:30am-12pm, consults only) - TOIL provided
- No out-of-hours or bank holiday working
- Accommodation available for those relocating
- Clinical freedom and fast, independent decision-making

- Keyhole surgery access
- RCVS and VDS fees paid
- £1500 CPD allowance + 4 days
