This is a great opportunity to join a family-run Tier One civil engineering contractor. The company offers a non-bureaucratic working environment along with the chance to work on larger, more complex, and prestigious civil engineering projects.

As a Site Agent, you will be working on a major infrastructure-led regeneration project located in central York. The project involves extensive coordination with multiple third parties, including Network Rail.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead all of the planning and construction delivery of several bridges and reinforced earth structures.
  • Develop the construction programme and monitor weekly targets.
  • Manage the relationship with the sub-contractors.
  • Maintain quality control procedures.
  • Monitor onsite energy and waste data.
  • Drive and motivate your team to meet the pace of the project.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND, or Degree).
  • Have significant site-based experience on civil engineering projects.
  • Have experience of working to Network Rail processes and specifications.
  • Have a valid CSCS Card and either SSSTS or SMSTS.
