The IT Support plays a vital role in ensuring all users across the business have reliable access to IT systems and devices. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day operational performance of end-user devices, supporting connectivity, and monitoring cyber security alerts. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external support partners to ensure systems are secure, available, and operating effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business users can connect to the network and access their applications with minimal disruption.
- Configure laptops and ensure all updates and installations are completed efficiently.
- Support mobile device configuration including authenticators and business-critical apps.
- Provide end-user support for Windows-based applications, especially Office 365.
- Collaborate with external IT partners to diagnose and resolve network and Azure issues.
- Monitor cyber security alerts and ensure controls are in place and communicated promptly.
- Maintain and manage IT support requests using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
Person Specification
- Formal IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role within a mid-sized organization.
- Confident with IT systems and user support; effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset.
