SEN Teacher Location: B12, Highgate Salary: £140 – £180 per day Hours: Full Time Start Date: ASAP We are working closely with a Special Needs School in the Highgate area who are seeking an experienced, committed and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will work with students who have a range of additional needs, creating personalised working plans and fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Do you hold a QTS and have experience in SEN Teaching? If so, this is a great opportunity for you to perform your skills and create a positive impact on the students educational lives. This School is a very welcoming Special Needs School that work with ages 2-19, where all teachers are determined to provide the best possible education to their learners regardless of their needs, background, beliefs or age to enable them to develop the ‘skills they need for the life they want’. Your role: * Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students. * Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties. * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, specialists, and other staff to provide holistic support. * Assess, record, and report on students’ progression and achievements. * Develop and implement Individual Education Plans, * Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers to support learning and well-being. * Promote inclusion and encourage the development of social and emotional skills. * Stay up to date with best practices in SEN Teaching. Requirements: * You MUST have a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). * You MUST have experience teaching in an SEN environment. * Right To Work in the UK. * An up to date DBS. * 2 sufficient references. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy and passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
