SC Cleared Portfolio Security Architect - Mostly remote. Occasional travel to client site (London / Croydon) may be required. Until end of March 2026. £700-710 per day inside IR35.

About the project:

The client is moving from an old Data Centre and Disaster Recovery site to a new Virtual / Cloud environment. It is key that current offices, infrastructure and business operations remain in place and supported until March 2027. Exit planning is underway. Current services need to be either:

  • replaced by cloud based solutions;
  • decommissioned;
  • or migrated to alternative environments available within the client and its data centres.

The role of the Portfolio Security Architect is to work as an advisor on risk associated with the migration, and to highlight any gaps and suggest improvements in the new infrastructure.

Skills required:

  • Provide security leadership for a data centre migration project.
  • Lead risk management activities of security risks, governance and assurance experience.
  • Provide technical assurance of all networks and infrastructure matters involved in the data centre migration.
  • Provide security direction utilising previous experience and knowledge of best practice regarding data centre migration.
  • Oversee compliance to protocols to reduce and prevent vulnerabilities during data centre migration.
  • Work closely with associated security teams and the portfolio security team.
  • Produce technical and procedural information and documentation to inform the Information Asset Owner (IAO).
