Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee tax compliance across all JD Retail EU and UK entities, manage tax audits, and mitigate tax risks;

2. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with tax authorities, external advisors, and internal stakeholders, including JD Group’s finance and tax department, on all EU and UK tax matters;

3. Tax automation system: work with headquarter finance, tax and R&D team to enhance automation and process improvement in tax reporting.

Qualifications

1. Chartered tax advisor with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational or a Big 4 firm;

2. Strong knowledge of UK and EU tax regulations, including Transfer Pricing, VAT, CIT and environmental obligation compliance, etc.;

3. Experience in tax reporting and automation with international retailer is preferred;

4. Self-starter with a hands-on approach, capable of working independently and within a team;

5. Based in London
