National Sales Manager / Director

They have state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge treatments, working as a distributor for global surgical orthopaedics companies, working across various orthopaedic areas with a new focus on sports medicine and an ever-growing portfolio, helping you to stay ahead in your field. They are now looking to drive sales across the UK by recruiting a motivated National Sales Manager who will develop sales strategy across the Sports Medicine business unit and lead their sales team.

Develop talent and a winning culture throughout the sales force.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
Responsible for multiple and shifting demands to deliver financial goals and business growth.
Determine and manage the market pricing, framework engagement and management of margin.
Establish productive and professional relationships with KOLs, both clinical and commercial.
Manage and oversee the daily operations the UK sales organisation.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
Coach and improve sales force effectiveness.
Work cross-functionally with marketing to deliver marketing and brand assets.
Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members actively involved.

Proven sales management / leadership experience within Sports Medicine or Orthopaedics
Experience of developing and driving large commercial deals through both technical success and commercial deal construct.
Skilled in developing financial commercial models in excel.
Full valid driving licence.
