As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Senior Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join their Midlands team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of high-profile projects, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You’ll work across sectors including commercial, education, and defence, with the flexibility to manage your own diary and working arrangements.
The Senior Construction Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- Leading CDM 2015 compliance and Principal Designer duties across diverse projects.
- Attending and contributing to design, client, and site meetings.
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Preparing detailed reports and advising clients on best practices.
- Mentoring junior consultants and supporting continuous improvement.
The Senior Construction Health and Safety Consultant will have:
- Significant experience in construction health and safety, ideally in consultancy.
- Strong working knowledge of CDM 2015 and related regulations.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and membership with IOSH or APS (GradIOSH/IMaPS).
- Progress toward or completion of NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma, NVQ Level 5, or relevant degree.
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset with excellent communication skills.
