The Role

  • Interpretation Services: Facilitate communication between organisations and customers with limited English proficiency.
  • Real-Time Translation: Answer requests and interpret conversations in real time via audio call, using our dedicated app.
  • Accurate Communication: Translate English to a second language and vice versa over the phone, always ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven Experience: Previous professional experience in spoken interpretation is essential.
  • UK Based: Must live in the UK and be eligible to work on a self-employed basis.
  • Fluent in Two Languages: Strong proficiency in English and a second language.
  • Cultural Insight: Deep understanding of the cultural dynamics of both languages.
  • Qualifications: A Community Interpreting Level 3 certificate or higher is desirable but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS: Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
