Element Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an award winning, Bristol based business in their search to hire a Management Accountant on a 12 month, fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this role will oversee and deliver the monthly management accounts and associated reporting, across multiple business entities. You will also be responsible for VAT returns, including any VAT queries, across not only UK but international jurisdictions too. You will also support the wider group finance initiative including continuous improvement projects, looking to enhance processes for accuracy and efficiency. The right candidate for this role will be an experienced Management Accountant (Qualified or Qualified by Experience considered), who has strong management accounting experience, with experience of VAT work too. You will consider yourself to be a ‘self-starter’ with an ability to work autonomously, whilst also contributing towards the shared goals of the wider team. You will also need to be available at short notice to begin a 12 month contract in January, with interviews taking place across December.
