At PT Cyber Security Solutions Ltd, they specialise in protecting organisations from digital threats and keeping IT systems running smoothly. They offer tailored Cyber Security Services alongside day-to-day IT support, making them a trusted partner for schools and small businesses in the region. Their core services include cybersecurity and risk protection, on-site and remote IT support, hardware and software installation and maintenance, and troubleshooting and technical support.
They support primary schools across North Wales and Merseyside, a multi-academy trust including primary, high school and sixth form college sites, and a small number of local businesses. Their head office and technical base is located in Deeside, North Wales. This is where you'll complete your initial training and become familiar with their systems and processes.
You will provide on-site support across Liverpool (L1 area) and the wider Merseyside region, working closely with clients, primarily in school settings. You'll start by spending most of your time in Deeside to train, meet the team, and learn their systems. As you gain confidence and skills, you'll take on more on-site responsibilities, often at school sites or local business premises across the Liverpool and Merseyside area.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Providing first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Assisting in maintaining, monitoring, and updating IT systems to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Helping with the installation and configuration of IT equipment and software.
- Diagnosing and fixing technical problems, escalating complex issues when needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of support requests and solutions in our ticketing system.
- Ensuring every client interaction is positive and professional.
- Taking part in training sessions and workshops to boost technical skills and knowledge.
- Traveling to client sites across Merseyside to provide on-site support.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
