Staffline is recruiting for Meat Production Operatives to work at our client’s busy meat production business in Driffield, East Yorkshire. The rate of pay is starting from £11.44. Night shifts paying £12.50 and Sunday rate is £17.16 Dayshift working times are 6am – 6pm Nightshift – 6pm – 2am The factory is working 7 days a week: Sunday to Friday 6am-6pm and Saturday 6am-2pm. Due to business demands, you may also be asked to work a maximum of 5 days out of 7. The company is well respected, and we have good feedback from current agency workers who have worked with this client. This may be ongoing work for the right candidates. You will be required to do a range of production work and should expect to do anything related to production in your duties and participate in training in order to carry out duties. Due to the location, having your own transport is essential. Your Time at Work As a Meat Production Operative your duties include: – To produce/pack cooked meat products to a high standard – Responsibilities & Skills: To work in different departments. ie High Risk, Low Risk, Raw Side – Filling Machine tubes for slicing & shredding of meats – Bagging/sealing products – Boxing of finished products – Cleaning of machinery & all areas of factory You will be sufficiently trained to do all jobs you are asked to undertake. This job may involve some fairly heavy lifting from time to time. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect Meat Production Operative will be reliable, hardworking and you may be required to lift boxes regularly. No previous experience is necessary as a Production Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training will be provided. Due to the location, having your own transport is essential.
