Senior Software Engineer | Leading Commodities Trading Firm | London (Hybrid)

I’m hiring on behalf of a top-tier commodities trading firm that’s searching for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of core frameworks powering a next-generation data and analytics platform on AWS.

In this high-impact role, you’ll sit at the intersection of traditional backend engineering and modern data engineering, designing and building scalable frameworks, APIs, services, and libraries used daily by data teams across the business.

We're looking for:

• Strong expertise in Python
• Deep experience with AWS
• Must have experience in financial services, ideally Trading or Commodities
• A solid understanding of modern data engineering principles
• Experience designing and building scalable frameworks and APIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
