Exciting Opportunity for a Permanent Quantity Surveyor! Our client, a leading consultancy in the North Wales region, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
  • Monitor project finances, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic advice to mitigate costs.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide support during the procurement process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in civil engineering projects.
  • Experience within the rail industry is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
