Our client, a leading consultancy in the North Wales region, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
- Monitor project finances, budgets, and expenditures.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic advice to mitigate costs.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide support during the procurement process.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in civil engineering projects.
- Experience within the rail industry is ideal but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
