Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced CRM Systems Manager with strong Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM) and Power Platform experience to take full ownership of a critical CRM system for a forward-thinking UK-based charity. This is a strategic role for a systems expert who is passionate about driving user adoption, optimising platform use, and influencing digital transformation. The role is fully remote, with the option to attend monthly meet-ups at the organisation’s office in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the D365 CE Product Owner and subject matter expert for the charity’s CRM and portal, overseeing day-to-day functionality and long-term improvements.
  • Lead on basic configuration, testing, user support, and Power Platform enhancements (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to increase adoption and embed the CRM system across departments.
  • Manage third-party supplier relationships, system licences, and support contracts.
  • Shape and implement the CRM strategy, ensuring alignment with the charity’s digital and operational objectives.
  • Oversee data integrity, compliance (including GDPR), and user training.
  • Support portal integrations and contribute to ongoing system development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (CE) as a systems owner, administrator, or functional consultant.
  • Good understanding of web/portal integrations (e.g. Umbraco, or similar platforms).
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform – Power Automate, Power Apps.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, basic configuration, testing, and user support.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, drive adoption and lead on CRM optimisation strategies.
  • Experience within not-for-profit, membership, or service-based organisations would be advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of GDPR, InfoSec, and Office 365 architecture.
  • Empathetic, proactive, and collaborative – comfortable operating autonomously and within a small digital team.
