System Administrator (Linux) - Remote

A leading client of ours is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator for a fully remote, 6-month fixed-term contract paying up to £65,000 . Strategic Planning: Identify and anticipate risks in infrastructure and networking; contribute to long-term IT and cloud strategy.
Operational Management: Lead the implementation and support of server platforms, virtualization, cloud services, and security technologies.
Manage enterprise-level network systems, ensure system security, oversee disaster recovery, backups, and patch management.

Professional certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
Deep experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter , Hyper-V , and Microsoft server environments.
Experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases is essential.
Proven track record in managing and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems. (Fully remote position (UK-based).
Flexibility required for participation in an on-call rotation and occasional travel if necessary.
