They are currently on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to look after the North London/Watford/Stevenage area Info about what the Field Service Engineer role entails Seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team nationwide. This regional role covers , reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager. In this role you will be attending customer sites to perform proactive maintenance, repairs & commissioning of their products. Some of the responsibilities include: * Servicing, calibrating and repairing detection equipment to relevant standards * Ensure all serviced products are fully operational, tested and have completed service paperwork * Support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers Requirements of the Field Service Engineer * Experience in instrument/electronic equipment service, troubleshooting/repair, commissioning, and/or installation. * HNC/HND in an electrical/electronic field or equivalent understanding gained from work experience. * Full driving license Desirable requirements of the Field Service Engineer * Previous experience with fire alarm systems or similar electronic devices * Preferably hold Confined Space, IPAF, and Safety Passport certifications, but training is provided. * Prior Field Service Engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
