THE COMPANY Our client is a large multinational and one of the world’s leading building products businesses. Formed over 100 years ago, the business is now a multi-billion turnover organisation that has over 100 production sites around the world. The Group has been developing and diversifying their business within building products and materials, and today is a key player in the construction sector worldwide. We are working with the UK business, a circa £50m turnover business unit across 4 sites. They are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner South. THE ROLE – HR Business Partner South The purpose of this role is to take primary responsibility for the South Region managing / advising on ER cases (complex and day to day) across multiple sites, guiding and empowering managers through change, assisting in compiling key reports and supporting various HR projects (e.g HRIS Implementation). Reporting to the UK HR Business Partner, this person will also take responsibility for recruiting, tracking and interviewing job vacancy candidates, and onboarding and inducting new employees. The business is expecting significant growth over the next 5 years, with this role playing an active part in shaping the future success of the business. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: 5-10+ years’ experience in an end-to-end HR/ ER role, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment (not essential) Strong Generalist HR experience and up-to-date knowledge of employment law Detailed knowledge of HR processes and practices Existing experience of identifying and attracting talent into an organisation, with success Excellent communication and presentation skills with well-developed interpersonal skills Strong relationship management skills Someone with a strong and organised personality coupled with a friendly and positive attitude. Ability to working in a very busy/ ever-changing environment Proven relationship building experience Policy review and implementation Qualified to CIPD Level 5 Working within Office 365 applications, as well as other company systems THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a very successful and well-respected business.
