Exciting Opportunity: Join Securitas Security Services (UK) Ltd as a Technical Manager! Securitas Security Services (UK) Ltd is expanding its technical design team in the Northwest region and is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Manager (TM) to join our dedicated team.

As part of a dynamic group of Technical Managers (TMs), Account Managers (AMs), and Project Managers (PMs), you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge security solutions to the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sector. You will provide the Security Systems Technical subject matter expertise to a large National Infrastructure Account. Securitas Security Systems (UK) Ltd provides six protective services to its client base, including On Site Security, Electronic Security, Mobile Security, Remote Security, Fire & Safety, and Corporate Risk Management. The TM will form part of a dedicated Account Team working with a strategic national client.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide electronic security expertise to the Account Team and lead the sales process for Electronic Security and Solutions opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to address client concerns, identify innovations, and propose security enhancements.
  • Conduct technical surveys to evaluate system performance, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with operational requirements (OR) and threat & risk (T&R) profiles.
  • Perform gap analyses and design solutions to mitigate identified vulnerabilities, aligned with Unified Technology Standards (UTS).
  • Research, design, and price security solutions, engaging third-party suppliers when needed for scope and costing.
  • Assist Account Managers in preparing proposals, delivering stakeholder presentations, and aligning solutions with client needs.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Mentor and support the Account Team to strengthen expertise in electronic security solutions.
  • Foster relationships with the Account Team and clients to elevate the profile of electronic security across the business.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience: Extensive career experience in the security systems integration market, ideally including an engineering background, project management skills, commercial acumen, and business development expertise.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise-level security technologies across various categories, including Access Control, Perimeter Detection, CCTV, Intruder Systems, and Control Room solutions. A sound knowledge of best-in-class products and innovations is essential.
  • SC Clearance: A valid SC clearance is preferred but not essential.
  • Self-Management: Ability to independently manage design deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: A positive contributor to a dynamic team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Reporting: Ability to produce accurate and detailed progress reports.
  • 5-year checkable work history.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • UK National for SC purposes.
  • Willing to learn new skills and expand product portfolio knowledge.
  • Demonstrate sales and engineering design experience within similar Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) market sectors.

The role will predominantly cover NW England, however, there may on occasions be a requirement to undertake works anywhere in the UK.
