Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a large mainstream primary school in Wythenshawe who require a year 6 teacher to start asap and continue until the end of the academic year. There is the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful candidate will join a team of two year 6 teachers, making a total of 3, who are committed to providing high quality educational activities for the pupils in their care. They also work together as a team to ensure that their pupils are fully prepared for their SATS and for further life in secondary school. The school was most recently inspected my Ofsted in October 2023 and is judged to be a good school with pupils who are well behaved and respond well to the high expectations that staff set for them. The successful candidate will be required to take on the full teachers role, including planning, marking, teaching and assessing. You will also be required to attend parents evenings and take part in school trips. You will ideally have recent experience in working with KS2, in particular year 6 and be skilled at using a range of techniques to ensure that pupils are able to achieve to the best of their ability, Experience in preparing year 6's for SATS would be a real advantage.
