Bid Manager role for a global law firm. Newly created role due to expansion of the team. Aligned to the Energy & Natural Resources practice group, this role will play an advisory role to the partners at every stage of the bid life cycle. You will also be part of firm wide projects to improve bid process and best practice. The firm offers a good culture and the bids team has strong engagement from the fee earning community. The BD team is under new leadership and continued growth is very much part of the future plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading on bids for the energy and natural resources practices, ensuring the content is of a high standard and puts the firm at a competitive advantage.
- Working with partners and the wider BD and client relationship teams on panel bids for priority clients.
- Coaching partners on bid/no bid decision, presentation strategy and content.
- Working with the wider business support teams such as pricing to ensure the bid is commercially viable.
This role would suit an experienced bid manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and likes the intellectual challenge of writing and project managing bids in the legal sector.
